Read this before you act on anything published on forexprogressive.com. It sets out what this site is, what it is not, and every commercial interest that could colour what you read.
1. This is education, not advice
Forex Progressive publishes general trading education. It is not investment advice, not a personal recommendation and not a solicitation to buy or sell anything. No article, course outline, worked example or reply to a message takes account of your income, capital, experience, tax position or objectives, because we do not know them.
We are not authorised by any financial regulator and provide no advisory, brokerage or account-management service. If you need advice about your own money, speak to a licensed adviser in your own country.
2. What can go wrong
- Leverage. Margined FX and CFDs magnify losses exactly as they magnify gains. Retail accounts lose money at high rates, and regulated brokers are required to publish that percentage — read it before you deposit.
- Gaps and slippage. Stop-loss orders are not guarantees. In fast markets, over weekends and around news, fills can be far from the requested level.
- Commodities and indices. Gold, oil and index products move in ways that surprise traders who size them like a currency pair.
- Digital assets, where discussed, are volatile and in many places lightly regulated. Exchanges have failed and lost customer funds.
- Prop-firm evaluations. Challenge fees are usually non-refundable, a single rule breach can end an account, and any payout depends on the firm staying solvent and honouring its terms. Treat the fee as a cost, not an investment.
You can lose all of the money you deposit, and with some providers more than that. Never trade with money you need.
3. No promises about results
Past performance does not predict future performance. Strategies, worked examples, backtests and screenshots on this site illustrate a method — they are not a forecast of what you will earn. Hypothetical and backtested results have built-in advantages: they are constructed after the fact, and they carry no real slippage, funding cost or emotional pressure.
4. Affiliate and commercial disclosure
Some links to brokers, platforms, prop firms and tools are affiliate links. If you open an account or buy through one, this site may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
- Commission never determines a rating, a ranking or whether a criticism is published.
- Products that pay nothing are covered on identical terms.
- Any sponsored or gifted item is labelled on the page where it appears.
- We hold no shareholding or advisory role with any firm covered here.
5. Accuracy and third parties
Fees, spreads, rules and regulations change constantly. Everything here is accurate to the best of our knowledge on the date shown, and corrections are made promptly when reported, but nothing is warranted as complete or current. Verify with the provider before you rely on it. External links are given for reference only and we are not responsible for third-party content, terms or security.
6. Where this applies
Nothing on this site is directed at anyone in a jurisdiction where the products discussed may not lawfully be offered or promoted. Several products mentioned are unavailable to retail clients in the EU, UK, US and elsewhere. Checking your own eligibility is your responsibility.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Forex Progressive, its owner and its contributors accept no liability for any loss — trading losses included — arising from use of, or reliance on, this website.
